*. Steps disclosure: There are 10 steps of stair at the entrance. The stair from main floor to 2nd floor is steep. You need to be comfortable with stair to stay here.
*. AC Disclosure: The upper bedroom is equipped with a mini-split AC unit for efficient cooling. On the main floor, both bedrooms have window AC units to ensure comfort during warmer months.
*. Parking : There are 2 assigned outdoor parking spots in the back of the house.
*. We uphold our cancellation policy as we only have each night available to one group of guests. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking.
*. We are in a quiet neighborhood. Party or any form of noisy gathering is very very strictly prohibited. Quiet hour after 9pm.

Amenities
The place was as described. Host was very responsive to messages. If you're familiar with city and college neighborhoods, this is a home in a college city. So be prepared for lots of traffic, loud parties (depending on the time of year), and some security issues. In general, the house is a nicely updated older home and met all our needs. <br/>Definitely be aware of the location. There is an alley bordering the home, which draws a lot of foot traffic to and from the park at all hours. The first night we had homeless people knocking on and peeking in windows around 3AM. The parking space behind the house, off the alley, is difficult to get in and out of because of the parked RV next door (which people live in). If you're expecting something set in the suburbs, this is not that. This is very much a home in the city with some of the issues you'd expect. The tradeoff is it is very convenient walking distance to UW and the downtown area. It’s a great location for visiting university students - near UW and close to the freeway . The house is well stocked. Allen communicates well. Spacious house near UW - great for visiting UW students. We loved that we had space to have my son over for dinner. Kitchen is large and fully workable with a full dining room and lots of space in the living room.
One drawback is the alley way adjacent to the house. It's fine if you're used to urban Seattle, but could be a little offputting to some. It’s a clean, well-prepared house with a parking lot, conveniently located near the University of Washington. The owner is hospitable, communicates actively with guests, and responds quickly.
