*. Stairs : There is 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom on the 1st floor. However, this is 3 stories building. You would need to be comfortable with stairs.
*. Parking : There is 1 assigned outdoor parking spot. Garage isn’t available as it’s too small.
*. AC : There is only 1 portable AC in 1 bedroom. No AC in other bedrooms nor living room. However, fans are provided.
*. We uphold our cancellation policy as we only have each night available to one group of guests. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking.
*. We are in a quiet neighborhood. Party or any form of noisy gathering is very very strictly prohibited. Quiet hour after 9pm.
*. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the house. Violations of this policy will result in a minimum fine of $500.

Cons: The home was generally dingier than expected, but the bedrooms really stuck out: upon arrival no beds were made, we had to rummage in draws and closets to find sheets. When we did find them, they did not match/fit the bed in the room. All rooms were not as pictured having less furniture, decorations, and the beddings was a complete let down. Couch and living room pillows had holes in them. There was no hand-soap in two bathrooms when we arrived.
Positive: host was very responsive. Delivered soap, iron and other items needed when requested. Unfortunately, if they had been there to start, this probably would be a higher rating. Please note that this is my experience and it may not happen to others. I was overall satisfied to an extent about the place, it matched the description and the photos and the neighborhood wasn't noisy during the night. The majority of the issues I had was next door was an empty lot where they were doing construction early in the morning which bothered me. Another issue is that there's VERY limited parking, and even with the designated parking space, there were still issues with parking. The host is helpful to a certain extent but responses are very slow and vague. Not to mention, I had to throw out recyclables elsewhere because there was a missing bin. It took me at least an hour or so to actually get into the place couple of hours after landing. I did see some people smoking across the street which didn't bother me too much. As for family-friendly, this area wouldn't be the best. Overall, it's a good home to stay in and there's plenty to do once you're in downtown.
